The Reviews are In!

Following are some of the emails we have received after the reunion.  I think it was a huge success.  Almost all of the 1st cousins were there and it was so much fun to see the "next" generation bonding as well, especially the "teenagers"!  Look for pictures and minutes to be posted soon.  I am also finalizing the "Daniels Family Reunions, Volume 1" DVD and will be mailing them out, so look for them in the mail.

Paula & Jeff:
Thanks so much for all your hard work on the reunion! Mom & Dad & I really had a good time! It was great to see everyone - boy have all the kids really grown (hadn't seen them myself in 4 years - makes a big difference at that age). Sorry we weren't able to stay for the worship & meeting on Sunday - …

Thanks again - take care - see you next time - or stop by if in Colorado (will do the same if in Arizona).
Your Cousin - Dan

Jeff and Paula,
I wanted to thank you both for all of the hard work that you did to organize the Daniels' Reunion. I think that camp is a nice facility and the food was fine. I had no trouble finding food to eat. I'm so glad that I came to the reunion because I needed to be with family.

Again, thanks for all you did to make the Daniels' Reunion nice.
Love,
Teresa

Thank you Teresa…..
We had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We think will be able to get the nicer leadership lodge in 2 years if we return to Rock Springs. I really think we will. Tim and Kathleen will take care of the logistics. Leadership Lodge is huge and much more modern.
One of my favorite moments of the reunion is right before the last lunch. People were packing up and mom was just standing around and looking. I told her to go ahead and sit down instead of standing. She said: “I don’t want to sit by myself; I won’t have anyone to talk to.” I said: “I will sit with you, Mom”. We sat down and within 10 minutes a group had gathered. There must have been 20 people just sharing stories and laughing… waiting for lunch!!!!
What a memory….
Jeff

Paula –
Hope everyone made it home “without a hitch”. I can’t remember a reunion that I’ve enjoyed more than this one. I have to agree with Jeff – the best part of getting together is everyone around the circle – talking about the old days. I can remember a time (when I was a kid) that I thought the “old folks” were silly about this type of thing. Showing my age, I guess.

Did Kathleen have any ideas for the next reunion? Can’t wait.
I’ve attached the minutes. Let me know if I need to add, change, or omit anything.
